WHERE TO FISH: THE "FIELD" GUIDE TO THE FISHING IN THE RIVERS and LAKES OF THE WORLD. [1932]. Edited by H.D. Turing.

ND (1932) 58th edition. Small 8vo (130 x 194mm). xxii pp advertisements + 428 pp + xxi-xxxvi pp ads. Folding map. Red cloth, spine titled in gilt, gilt trout vignette on upper board.

This edition is in a new larger format, with simplified pagination, and with colour plates. The blank diary section has been discontinued. The "Retrospect" section is discontinued and the "Review" section covers only the latter part of 1930 and the whole of 1931. The former editor, H.T. Sheringham died in December 1930 and receives a lengthy obituary. Includes a valuable 5-page article on spinning reels. The arrangement of the Fishing Stations of England and Wales has been entirely altered, and they are now listed by river system rather than by county.
